Shiloh and I had a fun and busy weekend this last weekend. My sister, Beka, visited us from Georgia and we went to visit my cousin Chris and his wife Jennifer in the hospital to meet their new baby.
Shiloh went over to Noelle and (gently) hugged her and said, “This is my new baby cousin Noelle.” It was so sweet.
Here is Chris, their one year old son Owen, and baby Noelle. I didn’t take a picture of Jenn because I know I wasn’t too fond of pictures right after having Shiloh. She looked way cuter than I ever did though.
I have to admit, holding a newborn again really made me want one. Obviously that isn’t happening, but isn’t she so beautiful?
After the hospital visit, we went to Target and got Shiloh a toddler bed. She still isn’t climbing out of her crib, but she’s 2 1/2 and I decided it was time.
Even though we got home late, Shiloh really wanted to sleep in her “big girl bed” so Beka and I put it together. She’s been in it every night since Saturday (except last night, but she was sick so she slept with me). She’s doing really good. I told her that when she wakes up, she’s not allowed to play with toys. She either has to come get me or yell for me (I still use the monitor). Every morning she has sat in the bed and yelled for me. She loves her bed. Now I just have to get someone to take the crib apart. It’s too big to fit through the door, so it’s taking up half of her bedroom right now.

I just LOVE toddlers with babies. My Brother and sister in law just had a little one and seeing my girls with him just melts me. I actually posted my WW about it this week
She is so cute in her big girl bed. My girls have been in BGB for a while now and they still call for me in the morning. I hope they do this for a long time as I am scared to think of what they could do if they snuck out of their room alone LOL.

That is fabulous, she stays in bed until you come to her. I really need to teach my kids that. I usually wake up with both of them in my bed, sore and tired. Then I find myself alone and they’ve caused mischief in other places of the house.

Aww, that’s really cute. We had to move my son to a big bed when he was 18 months old because he started climbing out of his crib!!

I finished painting her room right before Easter last year, so it’s been almost a year and I still haven’t taken pictures. I was just so worn out from all that painting that I didn’t take time to hang the stuff on her walls, etc. I guess I should do that. Maybe I’ll finish up this weekend and post pictures for the next WW. No promises, but it’s a goal anyway.

Shiloh’s arm is much better. I meant to write about it, but I got sidetracked with other stuff. She started using it again on Saturday and I’m thinking about cancelling her doctor appt. tomorrow, because it seems completely normal again.

Ahhhhh, what a sweet baby! Congrats all around! Nice looking family too. LOVE Shiloh’s new toddler bed, I’m impressed that she’s so sound asleep in it!
Did anyone ever tell you that your Shiloh looks a LOT like Brad and Angelina’s Shiloh? Eeeiry! Maybe it’s the blond-blond hair? I don’t know. They do look a lot alike though!

Yeah, my cousin brought me a magazine one day with a big photo of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt in it. She was comparing them at and they do look similar. Kind of weird. I haven’t seen any recent pictures of her, so I’m not sure if they still look alike.

I love her new big girl bed not sure if you saw but I saw the other day they have some super cute toddler bedding sets, I think they have Abby’s in the toddler bed size. She has a twin bed since my FIL gave us the bedroom suite his father made! yes I am very nervous that we will screw it up and he will be very upset with me.
Oh isn’t this weather lovely? 80 yesterday and winter precepitation tonight WTH.

I saw some cute bedding sets, but I was scraping pennies just to get the bed, so for now she’ll have to make do with what she has.

YAY for big girl beds! She’s adorable. That’s awesome she stays in bed and yells for you. GREAT JOB MOM!!!! I failed in that area….the baby is adorable! Btw, I feel the same way every time I hold a new born….I WANT ONE! But definitly do not need one

My daughter was the same way (no climbing out of the crib) but we did the same thing! Glad to hear it went well!!!!!

She is so sweet…I love the sleeping picture. I have a similar one of B when she was that age. Just catching up on your blog….I’ve been slacking since the teaching job came along, but I’m getting better.
