- Applying for financial aid. (a.k.a. Searching through piles of papers for tax records, etc.)
- Stressing about the PRAXIS exam I’ll have to take to get in the education program. I’ve been out of school way too long!
- Relearning Algebra before I start classes in the fall. (My brain is mush.)
- Working on about ten loads of laundry. (You only think I’m joking.)
- Trying to organize different rooms in the house. Very sloooooowly.
- Getting back into an exercise routine.
- Trying to cook more.
- Trying to create a budget on my very small income. (Not only have they cut our hours, but now they are taking money out of our checks to pay for insurance. Until now, the company has paid for it.)
- Working. Yes, I always work, but it’s been extra crazy lately.
- Dealing with my crazy grandparents that just moved here from Texas. I’m the only relative in town and they have been calling me constantly.
- Not sleeping. Don’t know why, but I haven’t slept much in the last two weeks.
- Trying to spend “quality time” with Shiloh.
Of course on top of all this, there are all my normal responsibilities. Being a single mom. Church activities. Work. Etc.
I know this sounds like I’m complaining, but for the most part these aren’t bad things. Life’s going fine, I’m just super busy. (Although I certainly wouldn’t complain if I got a bit more sleep.)
I have the day off tomorrow and I have tons of stuff I need to do. The biggest one being that I have an appointment at with an adviser at the college. Hopefully I should know where I stand and what the next step is after tomorrow.

That does sound like a very busy schedule and would keep anyone from blogging! I hope you gain some more peace of mind and direction after your meeting tomorrow.
And algebra…blech, I just don’t get algebra at all.
Good luck though!

Kudos to you, on trying to excel yourself with an education, while doing all that and being an Mommy.
